Passage to Valhalla

Command decisions and statistics will always be preserved in the archives, but there is a human side of aerial warefare.  This story of the air battles of Europe, from Schweinfurt to Regensburg and to Poliesti will be told through the hearts of one surviving crew.  The crew of the B-24 Liberator named "DESTINY DEB".  These ten young men were unique only in that they endured equally with tens of thousands of crew members that flew those bombers and fighters in that war.  Their story is a story of the gunners, the navigators, the bombadiers, the pilots who made it possible to bring that a war to a speedy conclusion knowing that the life expectancy in a bomber over Europe was less than one in three of surviving.
